If you are looking for a inexpensive bourbon along the lines of Jim Beam, try Ten High. While yes, I admit, it does come in a plastic 1.75l jug, it tastes EXACTLY like Jim Beam. Ive done multiple taste tests with friends who swear by Jack, Jim, etc. and a lot of my friends now drink it exclusively. The 5th comes in a glass bottle…so its got that going for it. 5th = $8, handle = $16. Beam runs about $15/$28. Worth a try if you like bourbon & cokes or even a little lynchburg lemonade.
If you like bailey, I suggest trying coole swan, it very rich and tasty. It is definitely a relaxed sipping drink, big fan of it in the winter time. I think it better then bailey, it has a great combination of vanilla and cocoa.
